Treatment rates

Physiotherapy 

The treatment rates are in accordance to agreements with the relevant Dutch health insurer. See your policy for more information. If you do not have a Dutch insurance or are not covered for physiotherapy then the rates listed below will apply as of 1 January 2017. Unless otherwise stated, the rates apply for 30 minutes.

Payment

We have contracts for physiotherapy with all Dutch health insurers. If you are covered, the treatment will be paid by the health insurer. Check your policy accordingly. During the first session, we will check your insurance information and can see how many treatments will be reimbursed. It is important to indicate whether you have been undergoing treatment for physiotherapy elsewhere in the current calendar year. If you do not have supplementary insurance (aanvullend) with a Dutch insurer, you will personally be invoiced at the end of the month. In case of uncertainty we can help you.

Our Manual therapist does not have contracts with health insurers. He will invoice you at the end of the month and it is up to you to forward it to your insurance company. Dutch health insurers will pay a minimum of 75% and a maximum of 100% depending on your policy. If you are unsure then please consult with your insurer first.

Complaint settlement

Our practice participates in the KNGF complaints scheme. Upon request, you can receive a copy of the rules that apply. If you have a complaint, inform your therapist first. If you have any questions or want to make use of the arrangement, please refer to the complaint folder.

Acupuncture

In most cases, under a supplementary insurance (aanvullend), alternative medicine, including acupuncture is also covered. Check your policy accordingly. In case of uncertainty we can help you. If you do not have supplementary insurance, you will be invoiced directly. Payments must be made within 14 days of invoice date. If an appointment is not cancelled within 24 hours, charges may apply

Haptonomy

Haptonomy sessions will be invoiced directly to you. In most cases, under additional (aanvullend) insurance, alternative treatment methods like haptonomy/naturopathy (natuurgeneeskunde) is covered. Check your policy accordingly. In case of uncertainty we can help you. Payments must be made within 14 days of invoice date. If an appointment is not cancelled within 24 hours, charges may apply.

For haptonomy, our practice participates in the VBAG and RBCZ/TCZ complaints scheme. If you have a complaint regarding haptonomy, please inform your therapist first.
